SOLD – Avalon Mid Century Sideboard

A stunning mid century sideboard by British furniture makers Avalon. This 1960s Avalon sideboard is a highly desired piece of mid century design, crafted from teak wood and the handles carved from rosewood. There are three large central drawers (the top drawer is lined with felt) and two shelved side cupboards which feature sliding doors. These sliding doors make this sideboard a great option to use as a TV unit as well, allowing easy access and stylish storage for media units. For a more than 50 year old vintage sideboard, this piece is in excellent original condition and a superb example of the amazing craftmanship and quality of mid century modern furniture. We have not had to do any restoration to the sideboard, but as to be expected with an item of this age, there are a few minor signs of age related wear (see pics). We have applied a beeswax polish to enhance and protect the teak wood. This mid century modern sideboard would look superb in so many interiors, adding a cool, minimalist and retro style. SOLD
