SOLD – Mid Century Dining Chairs, Set of 4

A striking set of 4 mid century dining chairs produced in 1963. They are beautifully designed, with the frames crafted from beech, the curved back rests from teak and with black vinyl seats. They do not feature any makers mark but their minimalist and clean lined design, curved back rests, vinyl seats and tapered beech legs give them a very cool retro and Scandi/Danish feel – a very current aesthetic for today’s homes and interiors. For mid century dining chairs of this era, these hardwood and vinyl dining chairs are in superb condition and structurally perfect. We have retained their natural patina and applied a beeswax polish to the wood to bring out the natural sheen and grain and to protect them. The vinyl seats are immaculate with no rips, scratches or stains. This superb set of 4 mid century dining chairs has been treasured for nearly 60 years by one British owner in the Cotswolds, and is now ready for a new life in today’s modern home. SOLD

Condition – The dining chairs are in excellent vintage condition, structurally perfect and have a beautiful natural patina built up over 60 years with some very minor age related wear/usage to the wood. A beeswax polish has been applied to the wood to enhance and protect it.
