SOLD – Mid Century Dresser by Ercol / Welsh Dresser / Sideboard

This handsome Ercol Welsh Dresser, designed by British furniture makers Ercol is their ‘Old Colonial Panelled Dresser’ – a design which dates back to their 1956 catalogue. The timeless and classic dresser is crafted from elm wood with a lovely wood grain, striking wood panelling and beautiful carved detailing. It is in superb vintage condition throughout. This Ercol welsh dresser comes in two parts and can be used as just a sideboard. It features lots of practical storage as well as display options. The main sideboard unit features two drawers (including original drawer divider) and two cupboards with shelves. The removable top section features a charming scalloped edge and has two grooved shelves – which can be used as display or plate racks. Originally this unit would have been used in the kitchen or dining room, but would make a great sideboard or display unit for a contemporary living room or hallway as well. The Ercol gold badge is also in place on the inside door which suggests this welsh dresser was manufactured in the late 70s or early 80s. SOLD

Condition – This Ercol mid century sideboard and display unit is in superb vintage condition. The wood is in excellent condition with just a few minor age related signs of wear and use. The drawers run smoothly and the cupboard doors open and close with no problems.
