Vintage Bentwood Thonet Style Rocking Chair – £260

A classic piece of mid century design with a chic modern touch. This beautiful vintage bentwood Thonet style rocking chair has been updated with a finish of white chalk paint making it an ideal statement piece for today’s home. The chair is structurally sound and the rattan in lovely condition for an item of this age. When we acquired the chair there was a small pull in the cane on the edge of the seat which we have fixed and is now barely noticeable. The white chalk paint finish has purposefully been left with some natural signs of wear to add to the character of the chair and give a more natural patina and aesthetic. Price £260

Condition – The rocking chair is in excellent condition, refurbished with a white chalk paint finish and left with a worn/natural style patina. The cane is all in order – we fixed a small pull in the cane to the edge of the seat and is now barley noticeable – see pics.
