Vintage Mid Century Child’s Wood & Metal Desk And Matching Chair – £295

This is a truly unique desk and matching chair for your child with a stunning mid century style and design. The pearl shaped desk features a gorgeous roll top, and is crafted from teak and has very cool retro looking tubular metal frame and legs. It likely dates back to the 1970s and we have sympathetically refurbished this vintage desk to give it a stylish and contemporary twist. We have purposefully kept the naturally distressed frame and legs on both the desk and chair but added a lacquer to protect the current patina. The teak wood desk and chair seat has been restored with a sleek varnish finish and we have painted the sides of the desk in a flat matt cream to align with the legs. Inside, for a fun and practical element, we have added chalk blackboard paint to the interior base and the two shelves are painted cream. It has such a special vintage charm, with the distressed frame and wing nut detail, but also looks super sharp and polished for today’s modern home. Price for desk and chair £295

We undertake all restoration work within our home studio in the Cotswolds and all items are also stored carefully here until they are ready to be packaged up and delivered to you. As all our furniture is either vintage or mid century and not new, there may be minor signs of age related wear and use.
